If you are looking for a recipe for Homemade Organic Jamaican Jerk Seasoning, look no further. This recipe takes me right back to Jamaica.
Ditch the extra additives the store-bought versions offer. Make your own! I love this one, it has a little heat which you can control to your liking. But this is one of our families’ favorite seasoning mixes. I hope you enjoy it as well.
Why Make Homemade Organic Jamaican Jerk Seasoning?
Most store-bought seasoning mixes are often loaded with additives, preservatives, and artificial ingredients that can be harmful to your health. They also contain high fructose corn syrup and gluten, and fillers not needed to add flavor. Besides, homemade seasoning blends, on the other hand, are free from these harmful additives, making them a healthier and safer alternative. I know I don’t want to add those extras into our food, so I make it homemade.
Tools Needed
Basically, you’ll want to use a food processor (optional) and a coffee grinder. I prefer a coffee grinder for grinding the larger spices into a fine powder.
